The "Sensorimotor Countermeasures Study" (SMC), a research project that aims to provide groundbreaking findings for space travel and medicine, began on September 23, 2024.
This study, which is being organized by DLR and NASA, is analysing how prolonged stays in space affect astronauts. The aim is to develop measures that can protect their health in such extreme situations.
While HYPOGEN CARE's care technologies are used in the study, DYNADION also relies on the latest developments in skin protection and care. DYNADION focuses on offering innovative solutions for skin protection and wound prevention based on scientific findings and technologies that are also tested in demanding medical areas.
The SMC study will take place at :envihab, the research complex of the DLR Institute of Aerospace Medicine in Cologne, and will last three months. The results obtained can provide important impetus for the further development of products in the field of skin and wound care, such as those offered by DYNADION.
