NSP© technology forms a micro-protective film in the skin that naturally protects the skin against UV-A, UV-B and UV-C radiation.
NSP© strengthens the skin's cell membrane complex and is free from conventional and often very harmful mineral or organic sunscreen ingredients.
Human skin is fundamentally adapted to natural radiation exposure through its skin type and can respond to UV radiation exposure through protective mechanisms such as increased eleidin production (indication: increased pigmentation/tanning) and increased light callus (indication: thickening of the skin). However, the body's own protective mechanisms are limited and sometimes have very long reaction and development times.
NSP technology fills this gap and uses a special chitosan biopolymer complex that assimilates UV radiation immediately upon application.
Chitosan itself does not absorb UV radiation—but the UV-sensitive complexes used in NSP technology do. These are capable of absorbing UV radiation and converting it into heat before it reaches the skin.
DYNADION products with NSP technology form a wafer-thin, barely noticeable micro-protective film in the skin, which acts like a protective shield to keep UV radiation away from the skin.
This micro-protective film is also breathable, (salt) water resistant and abrasion-resistant – and can maintain its sun protection factor (SPF 60 or 65+) over the long term.
The micro-protective film is removed solely by shearing, i.e., intense rubbing against the skin, such as when drying with a towel. Only then is a reapplication necessary.
NSP© technology is extremely sweat-resistant - even during intense, alkaline sweating.

The European Cosmetics Association Colipa ( https://colipa.eu ) and DIN ISO 24442-2011 provide two categories of information on water resistance:
Water-resistant means that a product must still retain at least half of its sun protection factor after two 20-minute baths. Bathing, in this sense, involves exposure to moving water.
Extra waterproof means that the product still provides this protection even after four 20-minute baths.
In addition to these in vivo tests, DIN ISO 24443-2021 also requires in vitro tests.

The objectives according to DIN ISO 24442-2011 (water resistance in vivo), DIN ISO 16217-2020 (water resistance in vivo) in practice, and the objectives according to DIN ISO 24443-2021 (UV protection in vitro) on a laboratory basis were far exceeded, exceeding the upper limit of performance. This also applies to the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) according to the US standard.
In internal tests conducted in cooperation with the Biological Institute Helgoland (BAH), even daytime sun protection was demonstrated.
