DYNADION products achieve the pH-balancing effect through the use of an innovative, acid-base-active biopolymer. This forms a pH buffer zone on the skin.

pH (abbreviation for Latin: pondus hydrogenii ) is a scientific measure of acidity or alkalinity. A pH value of 5.5 is ideal for the skin, generally for every body region. At this membrane value, the skin's cell membrane complex is undoubtedly most stable.

In more scientific terms, pH represents a chemical weight of hydrogen ions, which is responsible for pH effects.

The acid-base active biopolymer of DYNADION products has both a storage of its own hydrogen ions and the ability to extract hydrogen ions from the environment.

DYNADION products with pH balance effect regulate the skin’s pH value to skin-neutral 5.5:

  • – If it falls below 5.5

    For example, in acid rain, the biopolymer extracts hydrogen ions from the environment, stores them within itself and neutralizes them to the outside.

  • – If it rises above 5.5

    e.g. through intensive sweating or swimming in chlorinated water, the biopolymer releases hydrogen ions into the environment.

The pH value thus stabilizes in every situation. The next time you wash, shower, or bathe, any excess hydrogen ions that may have accumulated are removed.
