DYNADION products©achieve their ® pH-balance effect through the use of an innovative, acid-base active biopolymer that forms a pH buffer zone on the skin.
The pH value (pH stands stands for the Latin term: pondus hydrogenii) is a scientific measure of the acidic or alkaline character of a solution.A pH value of 5.5 is ideal for the skin, which applies to every body region. At this membrane value, the cell membrane complex of the skin is most stable without any restriction. In more scientific detail, the pH value chemically represents a weight of hydrogen ions, which is responsible for pH effects.
The acid-base active biopolymer of the DYNADION® products have both a store of their own hydrogen ions and the ability to extract hydrogen ions from the environment.
e.g. in acid rain, the biopolymer extracts hydrogen ions from the environment, stores them in itself and neutralizes them to the outside.
e.g. through intensive sweating or swimming in chlorinated water, the biopolymer releases hydrogen ions into the environment.
This way, the pH value is stabilized in every situation. Any excess hydrogen ions that may have accumulated are removed with the next wash, shower or bath.
