Shield & Care Fluid

Multifunctional, pathogen-inhibiting protective film with a thickness of approx. 2 to 3 micrometers and pH-buffering properties. Protects the skin from the inside out against physical (e.g., friction) and chemical (e.g., chlorine) influences as well as other skin issues (e.g., perspiration eczema). Suitable for application on large skin areas and provides a long-lasting effect. Can be used as an after-sun fluid for the prevention and treatment of sunburn.

Before, during and after sports, skin care and protection are particularly relevant. This applies to both acute problems and prophylaxis.

The ^microbran© technology creates a micro-protective film on the skin that is imperceptible, breathable and highly efficient with a thickness of approx. 2 to 3 micrometers. This protects against chemical, physical and microbial external influences.

The effect is long-lasting, water and abrasion resistant and generally lasts until the next towel use in combination with a lot of water - for example, directly after showering.

Sporting activity exposes the skin to particular stresses and makes it more vulnerable. The risks manifest themselves in many ways - but the protection and care provided by the Shield & Care Fluid is just as versatile:

• Exercise opens the pores of the skin, making external influences easier. Shield & Care Fluid forms a micro-protective film over the entire skin and inhibits germs, for example. This protective effect against environmental influences is particularly important for water sports.
• The alkaline sweating typical of sport puts a strain on the skin and leads to sweat eczema. The pH-balance^© technology of Shield & Care Fluid reduces the alkalinity and keeps the pH value in the skin-neutral range of 5.5. This not only prevents sweat eczema, but also removes the irritation potential of sweat to sting the eyes - which is also a result of its alkalinity.
• Pressure and friction turn contact points into weak points in the body. Blisters and open sores develop, which significantly reduce performance and often mean long regeneration periods. The ^microbran© protective film of Shield & Care Fluid stabilizes and strengthens the horny layer of the skin, protecting it against physical influences such as pressure and friction. This works prophylactically but also for existing problem areas.
• The pathogen-inhibiting potential of Shield & Care Fluid also comes into play in the case of scratches and abrasions: if an injury occurs to the skin, the film-forming properties of Shield & Care Fluid significantly reduce the risk of infection. The ^microbran© protective film rebuilds itself over such minor injuries and its pathogen-inhibiting properties can take effect.

These are just a few examples, the areas of application of Shield & Care Fluid are just as varied as the skin's need for general care and protection, so they cannot be fully described here.

Essential care properties are also:

- Moisturizes and thus prevents the skin from drying out.

- Long-lasting care regulation even after workouts, sweat eczema risks converge towards zero (e.g. burning sensation on the feet).

- No odour formation, as it has a very strong deodorizing effect.

The Shield & Care Fluid is:

- breathable,

- sweat resistant,

- (salt) water resistant and

- friction-resistant.

Shield & Care - the better second skin is also available as a lotion:

- for local, small-area applications,

- approx. 4 to 6 micrometers thickness of the film formed,

- Effects/effects stronger compared to the fluid.

The Shield & Care Fluid can also be used as skin care independently of sporting activities.
